Bio Film and Morgellons Syndrome 5/26/19 |
BioFilm is often a major factor when dealing with Morgellons Disease. The Morgellons Foundation (CEHF) just released a press release: Charles E. Holman Morgellons Disease Foundation Announces Study Showing Bacterial Biofilms are Implicated in Morgellons Diseasethat summarizes the study “Mixed Borrelia burgdorferi and Helicobacter pylori Biofilms in Morgellons Disease Dermatological Specimens” revealed that mixed bacterial biofilms are present within Morgellons disease skin specimens. The study was published in the prestigious journal Healthcare (Basel) (https://www.mdpi.com/2227-9032/7/2/70 ), and it was performed by an international team of scientists including microbiologist Marianne Middelveen from Calgary, Canada, researchers Eva Sapi, Katherine R. Filush, Cheryl Bandoski, Rumanah S. Kasliwala and Anthony Melillo from University of New Haven, West Haven, Connecticut, USA, and internist Raphael B. Stricker from Union Square Medical Associates in San Francisco, CA, USA."This is a neat circle (pun). BioFilm is an important factor in dealing with Lyme disease. The borellia bungaforte spirochete (Lyme disease) creates biofilm that surround it and protect it from antibiotics. Study's have found that Morgellons patients also have borellia bungaforte, Morgellons And Lyme Disease Link--a spirochete similar to the one found in Lyme disease. However, it seems to be a different variant of the basic Lyme disease in that the variant associated with Morgellons is associated with or produces the filaments composed of keratin and collagen that are associated with Morgellons. Actually the results of the study are no surprise. Morgellons sufferers have been reporting the presence of biofilms all along. Biofilms on their skin, in their mouths, sinuses, scalp--just about everywhere. BioFilm is a slimy substance produced by bacteria. Nature's Gift has been reported by many to be effective in dealing with both externally and internally by consuming the NG mouth wash. If you're thinking antibiotics for Lyme disease or any kind (including that associated with Morgellons), think again and read the post, Antibiotics for Lyme Disease and Morgellons Disease reporting a study that debunks the use of antibiotics. Presently, I'm looking into a blend of enzymes containing chitinase formulated to break down biofilm and chitin. As you may remember, I've been writing about lufenuron that also breaks down chitin which I recently wrote about, Using Lufenuron to Fight Morgellons Disease. |
