Why Bother Fighting Morgellons Disease? 10/11/18 |
It's so so easy to be overwhelmed by these skin parasites. Many express the challenge is just too much and that they might as well give in. Gay writes Please tell me what the normal life expectancy is for those once they are diagnosed.
What is the longest anyone has lived once they have been diagnosed? I am unable to concentrate and my short term memory is almost non/existent but was tested and it’s not Alzheimer’s I want to read your book I purchased but why bother because I won’t b able to retain it I started symptoms nov 1 2017 I almost died mar 2018 (many autoimmune issues for last 5 years and had pneumonia and went into septic shock) and temporarily was paralyzed 2 months later due to allergic reaction to food and my CNS going south. thanks Gay Hi Gay,
Thanks for writing.
It doesn't seem to affect life span--mostly quality of life. There are people who find me who have had it for over forty years and finally get their lives back.
The information in the book and blog can be overwhelming. Take notes, start with the basics,
diet in chapter IV
disinfection in chapter III
and bathing in chapter III I thank Gay for writing. Unfortunately, for those who may already be predisposed to be depressed, Morgellons disease can be the "straw that breaks the camel's back," as many have considered, I know I did, and some have committed suicide. It's totally overwhelming and while many things you do seem to work and are encouraging at first, they only help for a short while resulting in more anguish and disappointment. We now have the Sunday telephone support group where the fight against skin parasites can be taken to another level. Participants can exchange phone numbers and support each other during challenging times. The support group is scheduled today a 4 pm EST. To join in the meeting all you need do is call 605-472-5471 at the appointed time listed above and then enter access # 130156 and wait for the meeting to start. You're free to join the meeting anytime. As they say, Better Late than Never, however, we prefer you be on time as much as possible. And the meeting will be recorded. If you use T-Moble, I'm told that they charge $1 per minute. I'm told to avoid that charge, call the backup number : 206 451 6106 After that system will prompt what is the Dial in number of the conference at that point they will punch in 605 472 5471 and then enter Access Code 130156# |
