obin, my Sunday Co-host, is also fantastic in the kitchen. Here's one of her latest contributions to your palate. Whenever possible, I have a green salad before dinner incorporating prebiotics such as raw onion and chives.
Best Stage I Salad
This recipe makes enough salad for a week or more.
Ingredients:
½ Green cabbage
½ Red cabbage
¼ Red onion
4 cloves fresh garlic
½ cucumber
1 tomatoe
½ green pepper
6 radishes
2 stalks of chives
1 C spinach leaves
Rice bran oil
Lemon juice
Sea salt
IN STAGE II add 1 green apple, and black olives
DIRECTIONS
Chop all vegetables and toss in a large bowl. Sprinkle with lemon juice and rice bran oil. Salt to taste.
Chill and serve.
